Neil has held senior leadership and governance roles across both corporate and non-profit sectors. He currently serves as Chair of the Alberta Land Agent Advisory Committee under the Ministry of Advanced Education and the past
Vice Chair and Foundation Member at Shepherd’s Care Foundation. Neil holds an MBA from the University of Alberta, a Land Administration Certificate from Olds College, and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

His career spans leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including Alberta Environment and Parks and Challenger Geomatics’ Sub-Arctic division. Reid has managed projects ranging from complex subdivision and mineral claim surveys to large-scale oil and gas developments, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and mentorship.
An active member and current President of the Association of Canada Lands Surveyors, Reid is deeply involved in advancing professional standards and education within the geomatics community.
